At the beginning of October Michael Clark and Cliff Langdon made an almost 5,000 km journey from Southern Ontario to Goose Bay, Labrador, driving a tractor-trailer full of supplies for Nain. We arrived here in Nain, Labrador yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon after a full day of flights starting in Ottawa. We’re preparing for our next trip north; we leave first thing tomorrow for Nain, Labrador. I can hardly wait to see our friends there once again. I loved having the opportunity to learn from Ray and Juanita, whether it was cooking, baking, gutting a fish, or just learning the basics of how everything is done in the house. Throughout the year people from all over Canada send clothing and toys to Ray and Juanita, and every few months they have a giveaway at either the Community Hall or the High School Gym.
